Wipro Invitational: Innovation in Action (and Robots on the Move!)

The Wipro New Jersey office came alive as we welcomed high-school innovators from across New Jersey for the Wipro Invitational featuring the FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC). It was an exciting chance for Wipro colleagues, customers, and their families to connect with these student engineers—getting up close to see how teams design, build, and compete with their robots. From clever mechanisms to fast problem-solving between matches, the day was a real-time showcase of creativity, engineering excellence, and the kind of hands-on STEM learning that turns big ideas into real-world solutions.

The competition itself was fun, loud, and full of energy—spectators cheered as robots zipped, lifted, and battled for points, making it easy to feel the excitement of STEM in motion. Beyond the matches, the event was also a meaningful example of Wipro Cares in action, reinforcing our commitment to STEM education, youth empowerment, and lasting community impact. A huge thank-you to all the students and the FTC organization for creating such an incredible experience—and to our Wipro employees and customers for coming out, plus every volunteer whose time and effort helped make the day a success.
