East Brunswick Hosts ‘Bring Your Child to Work Day’ 2025

2025’s Bring Your Child To Work Day had an impressive turnout, with over 60+ youth participants joining their parents at Wipro New Jersey for a day of career inspiration, creativity, and loads of fun!

Wipro East Brunswick's Bring Your Child to Work Day was a resounding success, turning the office into a vibrant playground of learning and discovery! Hosted by Gargi and Amit Kumar, the event offered a delightful mix of educational experiences and engaging activities for employees' children. This year's theme, "For a New Generation," encouraged our young participants by helping them gain insights into different career paths, inspiring their future aspirations.

The day kicked off with three captivating panel discussions tailored to different age groups. Paulina Bettini's "My Dream Job: Vision Board and Lego Fun" session captivated children aged 5-8, encouraging them to explore their dream jobs, creating resumes that showcased their top abilities and interests. The session concluded with a lively vision board activity, where children used stickers and Lego building to bring their aspirations to life. Geeta Mahajan and Jeff Walker’s "Future Authors: Storybook Creation" session inspired 9-12 year olds to delve into storytelling and authorship. Group A crafted books imagining their parents as superheroes in the Wipro office, while Group B envisioned the office as a jungle, exploring various scenarios. Through imaginative thinking, creative writing, and engaging prompts, the young authors honed their narrative skills and creativity.

Neha Islaac's session, "Immersive Design Thinking: VR and AI Integration," empowered teenagers to design their own school backpacks by identifying target audiences and exploring their product concepts in an engaging, hands-on manner using virtual reality and AI prompts. A special thank you to Anay Parwal for contributing invaluable skills and insights, which enriched the the session.

This workshop not only encouraged creativity and critical thinking but also imparted fundamental insights into effective communication, teamwork, and innovative project management.

Madison Properties hosted a delicious lunch spread and an afternoon movie, providing a well-deserved close to an eventful day for our young attendees. Chef MK's mouthwatering breakfast and lunch offerings kept energy levels high, fueling the day's activities. Attendees gathered ‘round for giveaways, a group photo, and a fun AI-inspired naming activity for Wipro’s new interactive plant, Aiden. The day concluded with parents and children gathering for lunch, generously provided by the building, as they reflected on and shared their experiences from the day’s activities.

Wipro East Brunswick's Bring Your Child to Work Day was a testament to our commitment to fostering a fun and enriching environment for employees and their families. See you all next year!
