A Heartfelt Afternoon at Asilo de Ancianas María Auxiliadora

GUADALAJARA — A day full of smiles, music, and meaningful moments — March 19, 2026

On March 19, volunteers from both Wipro Guadalajara campuses came together for a very special visit to Asilo de Ancianas María Auxiliadora, a local home for elderly women. What we experienced there was far more than an event — it was an afternoon filled with joy, tenderness, and unforgettable human connection.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we were able to gather food donations, personal hygiene items, and cleaning supplies to support the home. But beyond the donations, the true magic came from the time we spent together. Our volunteers brought games, music, and a whole lot of heart. The activity room quickly filled with laughter as we played “100 Mexicanos Dijeron” and Lotería, cheering for every point and celebrating each winner with small prizes. The grandmothers had an amazing competitive spirit — and more than a few tricks up their sleeves!

After the games, the room transformed into a little fiesta. We sang, danced, and shared stories, creating a warm atmosphere where everyone felt included and loved. Some danced with elegance, others with enthusiasm, and a few proudly showed us their favorite songs. Every moment felt like a hug — soft, sweet, and full of meaning.

Our goal was to bring them a joyful afternoon… but in the end, they were the ones who gifted us so much more:
wisdom, warmth, and the reminder that kindness multiplies when shared. This visit was a beautiful example of what we can achieve when we unite as a Wipro family — not just in the workplace, but in the community we are part of.

Thank you to every volunteer who joined, donated, organized, and put their heart into this initiative. And to the ladies at María Auxiliadora: thank you for welcoming us with open arms and for filling our day with so much love.
